Killington Market on the access road has basics and beer, but prices are resort-markup. Fine for forgot-something runs, not a full shop.
Liquor: Vermont has state-run liquor stores. The one in Rutland (Price Chopper plaza) has the biggest selection near Killington.
Firewood: Don't buy it at a gas station. Local spots on Route 4 sell bundles for half the price. Check your rental's fireplace rules first.
Water: Vermont tap water is great. Skip the cases of bottled water.
Coffee: Bring good beans from home. Sunup Bakery and Liquid Art have great coffee, but your crew will want a pot before leaving the house.

Killington has 20+ restaurants on the access road. You will eat out more than you think.
Apres happens. Budget for Pickle Barrel nachos and Jax drinks even if you "planned to cook."
For 2-3 night trips, you honestly need breakfast stuff, snacks, drinks, and one easy dinner. That's it.
Kids will want mac and cheese at 9 PM no matter what you planned.
